Journey to one of Australia’s treasures, Kangaroo Island and enjoy a day of great racing combined with a celebration of local produce including seafood, lamb, olive oil, honey and stunning local wines

It’s that time of the year when the Island can party, and what a start it is this year with the Gourmet Gallop Food and Wine Festival.

What a colourful day it will be with all the marquees, flags, picnic sites, rides for children, and live entertainment.  

A range of the Island’s best foodies will sell their fabulous dishes on the day.

Exclusive Kangaroo Island Wines and other beverages - including Coopers beer - will help wash it all down.

The racing showcases a six race program, and a great day of racing, where you can have a bet or two and soak up the atmosphere of a country race meeting.

The Gourmet Gallop presents the perfect excuse for everyone to head over to Kangaroo Island for the weekend, and get a taste of what it offers.Spend a day at the races, and then stay a few days visiting the other attractions that the Island is famous for.
